Privacy Policy

DeHum collects nothing. There is no account, no analytics, no crash reporting and no server. Your recordings never leave your device, because the app has no code capable of sending them anywhere.
DeHum (“the App”) is published by Bulpara Teknoloji Limited Şirketi (“we”, “us”). This policy describes what happens to your information when you use it, which is a short document because the answer is mostly “nothing”.
1. What we collect
Nothing. Not your recordings, not your email address, not an advertising identifier, not usage statistics, not crash reports. There are no ads in DeHum on any tier, and therefore no advertising SDK and no consent prompt.
2. What happens to your audio
- Everything DeHum does to a recording happens on your device.
- When you import a file, DeHum copies it into its own storage so it can work on it, writes the repaired version alongside, and deletes both working copies when you leave the screen or the next time you open the App.
- Your original is never modified. The file you export is saved where you choose to save it and belongs to you.
- When you repair a video, only the audio track is replaced; the picture is copied through without being re-encoded, on your device.
- If you share a repaired file through the iOS share sheet, you control where it goes — we do not see it.
No part of this involves a network. DeHum contains no networking code at all — no URLSession, no Network framework, no third-party SDK that could carry data off the device.
This is verified rather than asserted: a check in the project’s build (make privacy) fails if any networking or analytics symbol appears anywhere in the app, its share extension, its audio engine, or any component they depend on. For a policy to stop being true, the App would have to change and that check would have to be removed.
3. What is stored on your device
- Your preferences — mains-frequency hint, default repair depth, export format, theme, and whether you have finished the introduction.
- A history of repairs you have made — the file’s name, its length, what was detected, and where you exported it. This is a list, on your phone, for you.
- Counters used to decide whether to ask you for a review — how many exports you have made and when you were last asked.
- Subscription status — whether a subscription is active, as reported by Apple’s StoreKit, cached locally so features can be unlocked.
All of it lives in the App’s own storage, is never transmitted, and is deleted when you delete the App. History entries can be deleted individually inside the App at any time.
4. Permissions
DeHum asks for one permission, and only when you use the feature that needs it: adding to your photo library, so a repaired video can be saved back. Reading a video you pick yourself uses the system picker and needs no permission. DeHum does not record audio and never asks for your microphone.
5. Subscriptions
DeHum Premium is sold through Apple. Your purchase, renewal and cancellation are handled entirely by the App Store; DeHum asks iOS whether a subscription is active and is told yes or no. We never see your payment details, and we receive no personal information from Apple. Apple’s own privacy policy governs that transaction.
6. Sharing and selling
We do not sell your personal data, share it, or transfer it to third parties, because we do not have any. There is no third party in DeHum to share it with.
7. Children
DeHum is not directed at children and collects no information from anyone, including children.
8. Your rights
Rights of access, correction, deletion and portability apply to data a company holds about you. We hold none. On your own device you can delete any history entry from inside the App, and deleting the App removes everything it stored.
9. Changes
If this policy ever changes, the date at the top changes with it. Any change that made DeHum start collecting something would be a change to the App, not only to this page.
